Federal Agency on Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart),
Scientific Methodical Centre of State Service of Reference Materials
for Composition and Properties of Substances and Materials, FGUP
"The Ural Research Institute for Metrology" (UNIIM) invite
you to attend the Ist International scientific conference "Reference
materials in measurement and technology", to be held on 10-14
September 2013 in Ekaterinburg (Russia).
Certified reference materials (CRMs) are important tools in assuring
the uniformity, comparability, metrological traceability of measurement
results in scientific research, production of substances and materials,
in product quality control, assuring safety of human life and health
and of environment. Assuring the reliability of measurement (analysis)
results and, as a consequence, the objectivity of the findings when
making decisions, CRMs play an important role in the elimination of
technical barriers to trade, economic, scientific, technical and other
spheres of cooperation.
The Ist International scientific conference "Reference materials
in measurement and technology" is dedicated to the questions
of production and distribution of reference materials in Russia, the
CIS and other foreign countries, to the questions of metrological
assurance of measurements on the basis of RM use, international cooperation
in the field of RMs.
This conference is conducted with participation in the programme and
organizing committees of specialists from national metrology institutes
of Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, UK and other countries and
leading experts in the area of reference materials of scientific organizations
and enterprises of the CIS and other foreign countries.
The conference is not limited to a specific scientific area and will
be of interest to scientists from various disciplines - RM, CRM users
and producers.
The conference will be attended by foreign and Russian representatives,
